About Robert Stacy McCain

Robert Stacy McCain is a veteran journalist and conservative commentator who is also a public speaker, author and communications consultant. He is a frequent contributor to The American Spectator and is co-author (with Lynn Vincent) of Donkey Cons: Sex, Crime, and Corruption in the Democratic Party (2006, Nelson Current).

A native of Atlanta and graduate of Jackonville (Ala.) State University, he was awarded the George Washington Medal by the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge in 1996 for his series of columns in the Rome (Ga.) News-Tribune about the National Standards for U.S. History. He lives in western Maryland with his wife and six children.
